Noris Roche is a vibrant, creative, and enthusiastic Realtor® at Showcase Properties, and we’re really excited to announce that she has been tapped for a prestigious role as a Global Ambassador for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).  This four-year appointment will see Noris representing NAR in Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay, working to strengthen international real estate ties and promote cross-cultural understanding.

The Global Ambassador program is a key part of NAR’s international strategy. Roche’s selection underscores NAR’s commitment to expanding its global network and promoting cooperation within the international real estate industry.

“I am deeply honored to be chosen for this prestigious role,” Roche said. “I am passionate about promoting international real estate cooperation and cultural understanding. I look forward to representing NAR and contributing to the growth of the global real estate community.”

Noris, who was born in Panama, has a personal connection with Latin American culture and the most relevant issues affecting its industry – plus fluency in Spanish – make her an ideal representative for NAR in the assigned regions. She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the position, having been actively involved in the real estate industry for many years.

Originally her appointment was slated to be announced at NAR’s meeting in Boston in September, but due to the double whammy of two hurricanes back-to-back, that was delayed. The official announcement will now take place at a training conference in Chicago on January 25.

“When they interviewed me in July, I was actually in Panama – which I had initially applied to represent,” she explains. “But they said they really needed me for Argentina and Paraguay, and it’s a good fit for me. I love what I do, and it’s such a big honor to be chosen to do this and to have something to offer.”

Her appointment is a significant step forward in NAR’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its global presence and foster international cooperation within the real estate industry.
