“We always loved it here,” she says. “My husband and I talked about moving here for years; my
daughter is also an equestrian, so we’d come here for her events and for horse sales. She went
to university here, too. So it always felt like home to us.”

A true enthusiast of the housing market, Sue often found herself "spending most of my Sundays
looking on Zillow", just to see what and why people were buying and selling. It was this innate
curiosity and interest that led her to pursue a career in real estate. Encouraged by her husband
of 26 years, she earned her license in 2023 and began working at a Sarasota brokerage.

“It was a great place with a great team,” she recalls. “We had a real community and supportive
collaborations. I wanted something like that when I moved to Ocala.”

She eventually found that perfect fit with Showcase, appreciating how the office staff provides
excellent resources, allowing agents to provide the necessary service to their clients. “It lets us
really focus on the job we need to do.”

Her extensive involvement in dressage competition and as an active member of STRIDE
Dressage in Ocala and the Florida Thoroughbred Fillies Club helped her build and develop
meaningful relationships in the Horse Capital of the World™. Her accomplishments in the
dressage world reflect her dedication, discipline, and work ethic, along with her deep
commitment to serving her community. Sue’s passion for horses and understanding of
