Born in San Luis Obispo, California, Lisa was raised on a foundation of discipline, purpose, and a love of horses. 

"I come from a long line of very motivated people," she notes. “Obstacles weren’t obstructions; they were challenges.” 

Her lifelong involvement in the equine industry includes owning, breeding and training horses, participating in horse sales and national-level competitions, and working in veterinary care. Her active and longtime connection to Florida's equine community gives her an innate understanding of Ocala’s unique appeal for equestrian life. Having traveled throughout Florida during her career, she says she knew Ocala was where she wanted to live. 

“I’ve been here many times for competitions and sales, and Ocala was the perfect environment for us to relocate,” she says. In 2021, Lisa and her family relocated to the Horse Capitol of the World™. “It really fit the bill for what we were all looking for."

Lisa’s passion for real estate developed through years of hands-on experience. In addition to building a successful equestrian career, she has owned and operated contracting and retail businesses, giving her valuable experience in contracts, project management, and negotiations. She also established a solid track record for renovating and flipping properties and has acquired a practical eye for recognizing a house’s potential and value. 

"I enjoy doing that," Lisa says. "I love finding diamonds in the rough."

After earning her real estate license, Lisa represented clients in Wellington before joining the team at Showcase. "I really like the team here and the way everyone is so supportive and collaborative. It’s a good work environment, and that’s invaluable.”

Her career experiences give her an essential perspective when evaluating equestrian real estate. She has a practical understanding of what horse owners want in a property—from pasture layout, soil quality, and barn functionality to convenient access to major venues and facilities like the World Equestrian Center, FTBOA, and HITS. While she has a particular passion for equestrian and agricultural properties, she also enjoys helping buyers and sellers with residential real estate and finding properties that fit their individual needs and lifestyle.

"My goal is to just do my best with every opportunity,” she says. “I’m willing to take on any challenge if it means I can grow."
