“I had lived here for eighteen months during my medical internship, and thought at the time it was a place I would really like to live. So when the time came, I purchased a property, thinking Ocala might become something like Wellington,” he chuckles. “It’s now evolving into everything Wellington is – especially after the World Equestrian Center was built.”

With 25 years experience in agribusiness, business management, and real estate investing, Vito brings a breadth of knowledge and tools to his work as an agent. An avid competitor, trainer and breeder of sport horses, he understands the needs and requirements that are necessary for equine properties, which is personally fulfilling for him.

“Horses need land, and farms are something I feel personally interested in, as well as residential properties. I could and would spend all day on farms if possible,” he says. “So it’s great to be able to use my skills to help clients either sell a property or find the one of their dreams so they can set off on the next chapter in their lives.”

Vito joined Showcase because it felt like “the right fit” for him, particularly after meeting with Valerie and the team. “It’s such a collaborative, supportive environment, and they agreed that my veterinary and equine experience was a useful element in my background. That was gratifying. Real estate is as competitive as the horse industry, and I have a very proactive outlook on healthy competition. Blending those two parts of my background makes me very happy, especially when it helps a client.”
